The stars tear open, spilling upon the ground crowns to kings whom never were. Kings of true intellect and power that guarded you through youth and promised they would never disappear. Kings who acted the ally by keeping you safe then ran for fear of responsibility. Responsibility that was never accepted by them even though our kings are at the fault to everything we find ourselves chasing in this lifetime.
We roam through fields of flowers, distinct and unique are each flower, and find that one flower to whom you hope can be our crown bearer. Though we sometimes choose flowers that don’t meet the par of it all, we get a little something from each and move on to the next. We place our faith in the flower and prey it aids us in repairing the lost parts of ourselves. Eventually realizing that flowers don’t make for shields, we begin again the task of self-discovery.
